The Hindi film industry is currently gearing up for perhaps one of its biggest clashes in recent times as two mega films, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are set to clash against each other and everyone has their bets on which film would reign supreme. Both sides of fans would have their worthy debates on why they feel the film they believe will have an upper hand but if there is one actor who needs this win certainly – it is Triptii Dimri.
Currently in a purple patch, Dimri would love to have a blockbuster to her name after the immense attention she received from Animal. In less than four months, Dimri had two releases in the form of Bad Newwz and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The box office collection of both these films has been underwhelming where Bad Newwz was expected to earn much higher than it actually did given the concept of the film and the appeal; while on the other hand, VVKWWV had everything going for it but even then, it did not translate into big numbers at the box office.
With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Dimri co-stars a star-studded ensemble and one might wonder if in a film which is spearheaded by Madhuri Dixit Nene and Vidya Balan will have her standout – but given her choices, she wouldn’t have done it in the first place. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Dimri has a great opportunity to not just remind everyone yet again about the acting chops she got admiration for owing to films like Qala and Bulbull but also that she can attract the box office success as well.
Fans across the internet have been divided as to who they believe will be the winner at the box office clash and while it might sound cliched, but it will be Bollywood who will be the winner if both these films deliver on quality and entertainment. For Dimri, a box-office mega hit would just act as the perfect catapult for her multiple projects ahead.
