Ananya Panday is one of the youngest and most desirable divas in the Hindi entertainment industry. She made her debut in B-Town in 2019 with SOTY 2 and within a span of three years, she has certainly managed to cement her place in the industry like no other. The diva has got an interesting line-up of movies going forward post 2022. Given the kind of talent and potential that she has already displayed on the big screen, we feel her best is yet to come.
At present, the audience are super excited to see her in ‘Gehraiyaan’ which is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video in February 2022. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles and has been helmed by the phenomenal Shakun Batra.
Today, at the trailer launch, Ananya was asked about her experience of working with someone of Shakun’s calibre to which she was quoted as saying,
“I couldn’t believe for the longest time that I was working in a Shakun Batra movie. I am a big fan of ‘Kapoor & Sons” movie. For me, it was a ‘dream come true’ moment for me. He is the ideal example of an actor’s director. He gives you a lot of space and the little things that he does on set to make you feel that you belong there is magical. The experience of working with him changed me as a person. The film has been an experience for me and I am so looking forward to it. We did take a long time to finalize the title. But yes, finally, I feel ‘Gehraiyaan’ as the title does complete justice to the subject of the film.”
