Her Schiaparelli black bodycon gown was stunning, especially when paired with the avant-garde gold jewelry. It created such a splash in the media and shone brightly for all the right reasons. Fast forward to 2022, and The Hadid girl was back, but this time with a focus on historical aspects. Isn’t this what fashion should be about? What’s old was seen in all of its gorgeous and majestic ways. The girl chose the Versace route as the theme from AM to PM on the day she landed on the French Riviera. The 25-year-old wore an off-shoulder gown designed by the late Gianni Versace in 1987 for the screening of The Innocent (L’Innocent), styled by Law Roach. This vintage full-length gown featured a ruched bodice and an attached velvet skirt that flared outward from the knee in a peplum-style flair. She wore a body-hugging dress from the good glam days of 2001 to the Chopard dinner. The full-sleeved costume was part of the luxury label’s ready-to-wear fall collection.

The plunging neckline and waist cut-outs were a wonderful example of oomph served well, leaving her stomach bare. It also had a brown leather accent around the waist that framed her figure. To the end of time, white and black! She wore a Chanel gown from 1986, which comes from Karl Lagerfeld’s creative archives and was designed for the luxury fashion house. The strapless gown featured a velvet bodice with a lovely white rose design and detachable puffed sleeves with stripes that matched the flared full-length skirt. The old-world charm that hasn’t faded. Bodycon dresses are iconic, and they continue to make headlines.
