SRK and Gauri Khan are known to be the pioneering couples in Bollywood. Giving off some grand couple goals over the years, it’s needless to say that the stars have swayed us with their inspiring love story.
The two first met at a common friend’s wedding when SRK was 18 years old and Gauri was 14. That was the first time when SRK asked Gauri out, but she rejected saying that she is waiting for her boyfriend, while in reality, she waited for her brother, and then when SRK realised the truth, she approached Gauri Khan again and said “Mujhe apna bhai hi samjho”, and that’s how the two started talking, as stated in Times Now.
However, just like any other couple, the two also had a big fight and then is when Gauri left the city without informing SRK and moved to Mumbai. SRK came down to the city along with his friends with not much money to find her out, but even though their pockets got exhausted they couldn’t find Gauri, but SRK was determined that he would find her out.
With time and effort, the two realised that how their relationship is quite serious. The two also had quite hurdles in life, because they belonged to different religions and it took them five years to convince their parents to get married. The two got married in 1991.
