Fans have always suspected Nina Dobrev of the ‘Vampire Diaries’ had plastic surgery at some point during her career, but this truth may disprove that claim. Nina Dobrev has been nearly everywhere since she left The Vampire Diaries, and she’s been a fan favorite since. She’s worked on TV shows and films, and she shows no signs of slowing down. While many fans believe her career could have reached greater heights by now, Nina is certainly well-known enough to make the internet go crazy whenever she comes outside.
While there will always be rumors and conjecture about celebrities receiving plastic surgery, Nina Dobrev’s relationship with Olympian Shaun White has recently been the topic of rumors. Rumors of an engagement have been circulating almost since the two initially made their romance public. Us Weekly reported in April 2021, after they had been dating for less than a year that the couple was on the verge of getting married. While White was competing in the Olympics in 2022, Dobrev was asked more questions about a possible engagement, but her only reaction was “good try.”
While Nina Dobrev may be bothered by the allegations about her love life, it’s safe to assume she prefers them to the speculations about her having plastic surgery. While it’s bad enough that Nina Dobrev is the subject of eating problem suspicions, she also has to deal with people scrutinizing her appearance in every photograph taken of her. The worst part is that Nina has admitted to having allergies that affect her appearance, among other things. Nina wasn’t in for plastic surgery recovery; she had an allergic reaction to something and went into anaphylactic shock. Nina’s face was obscured by an oxygen mask in Julianne’s story, and Julianne also covered her face with a sunglasses emoji.
Nina’s face was blotchy; her eyes were swollen to the point where her eyelids had many creases, and she appeared sick in later images she uploaded from home. Anaphylactic shock is an extreme allergic reaction, and in Nina’s case, it causes her to swell up dramatically. Nina tweeted another selfie after a brief hospital visit, showing that the “swelling is basically gone,” and she was back to normal.
