Gram Worthy Looks From Emily In Paris: Take A Look

Here are some stunning looks of Emily In Paris

Emily Cooper’s style has been described as “quite chic” by many. Lily Collins’ character Emily in Paris, the exuberant protagonist, is fond of bright jackets, fingerless gloves, checkered bucket hats, and giant sunglasses, all of which stand out in the normally sophisticated, restrained French style look. Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi’s costumes as a Chicago transplant in Paris have been dubbed “cartoonish,” “tacky,” and “utterly unhinged” by critics, with varying degrees of delight attached. Fitoussi says, “I don’t give a damn.” Fitoussi says, “You can call it tacky, you can call it unusual, you can call it whatever you want.” “It’s a lesson in being yourself,” she says.

Who is in charge of enforcing the rules? Who decides what goes in and what goes out? Is it true that you are in or out of style? I’m not paying attention.” Fitoussi and co. Appear to be succeeding with this approach; as the new season of Emily in Paris premieres on December 22, all eyes will be on the fashion. The French costume designer teamed with consultant Patricia Field, who is well recognized for her famous (and much-debated) wardrobe work on Sex and the City, as she did in season 1. Field granted her “total freedom” to outfit the characters as she saw fit once they worked out their working relationship in the beginning—”of course, we’d have fought since we’re two strong personalities,” Fitoussi says. Emily hasn’t lost her love of colour; it’s evident from the start of Season 2 that she hasn’t. Fitoussi explains, “We don’t transform [Emily] overnight.”

“She doesn’t give up and dresses like a dull French girl in a navy blue blazer, a white T-shirt, trousers, and sneakers. ‘How to dress like a Parisian,’ I’m sure you can find it on every website. I’m not a fashion designer. I’m not a fashionista in the least. “As a costume designer, I needed to create strong characters that would appeal to a young audience.” Emily wears a tweed Balmain skirt, a ruffled red crop top, and a Roger Vivier bag on one of her many outings. It’s a fairly modest look for Emily, who is notoriously over-the-top, but the extra dash of scarlet is enough to draw attention. Throughout Season 2, Emily wears a variety of eye-catching outfits. Emily’s attire is the pink Rotate bow-adorned short dress. She wore the strapless dress with a kimono she had at home, which was an unintentional but inspired choice.
