We do know that Kristen Stewart enjoys a nice statement eye, if there is one thing we can say about her makeup. She often wears inky black eyeliner.
The actress wore her trademark smokey eye at the Chanel @welovecoco Instagram account launch on Wednesday night. She enhanced the look with some very long lashes, and the bronze and black eyeshadow combination worked well with her naturally hazel eyes. She had her hair pulled back in a dramatic side split to showcase her blonde highlights and served a significant face with a reddish-rose lip color.
Along with her own sense of style, her beauty crew had a significant role in this as well. She received an extreme cat eye from makeup artist Jillian Dempsey that will be recorded in the history of exceptional eye makeup. Most of her makeup is gentle with nudes and matte finishes that prevent her from being cartoonish despite the black cat eye’s tremendous intensity. Additionally, the hair is the ideal contrast, being tangible and a little messy to prevent her from seeming overly “done,” which can happen with dramatic makeup.
Kristen Stewart arrived at the On the Road premiere with a tight black dress and a modern black smokey eye. According to Beau Nelson, the makeup artist who created the extremely graphic look, “I’ve done smokey eyes on Kristen probably a hundred different ways, so I wanted to do something a bit unusual.” “On the top, I made a smokey, almost cat-eye shape; I didn’t use liner or shadow on the bottom lash line. This led to a more modification of a smokey black eye.”
