It is no secret that Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput had an arranged marriage. Shahid has revealed in several interviews that he instantly clicked with Mira, despite their 13-year age difference. In fact, they ended up talking for seven hours without even realising it!
But did you know that Mira first met Shahid when she was just 16 years old? She made this revelation during an ‘Ask Me A Question’ session on Instagram, when a fan asked her what it was like meeting him for the first time, considering he was a star?
“Just like meeting anyone for the first time,” Mira wrote, adding that it was “interesting”. She elaborated, “It was actually when I was 16 and we were at a common family friend’s house for a concert”
Shahid and Mira tied the knot on July 7, 2015 and have two beautiful kids – daughter Misha and son Zain. It was during Mira’s first pregnancy that they first fell in love. Shahid constantly took care of her during this time. Shahid used to give foot massages to Mira in the middle of the night.
Mira often takes her family pictures on the gram and we love the duo in the normal homey environment, apart from the studio and sets.
