Knocked Up (2007)

Is there any other possibility for No. 1 on this list? “Knocked Up” is entertaining with or without Heigl, yet it was the Judd Apatow comedy from 2007 that piqued our interest in seeing her in roles other than “Grey’s Anatomy.” While her post- “Grey’s Anatomy” work hasn’t always lived up to our expectations, we’ll always have “Knocked Up.” That is something that no one can take away from us.

27 Dresses (2008)

You really can’t dislike anything with James Marsden in it! It also serves as a reminder that Heigl can be amusing when the topic is appropriate.

Life as We Know It (2010)

While we’ll never forgive this film for killing off Christina Hendricks in the first ten minutes, it’s still a nice little film. We can laugh with the movie rather than at it because Heigl and Josh Duhamel have wonderful chemistry.

The Big Wedding (2013)

Wow, what a film. In this film, Diane Keaton is at her most Keaton, and it’s just too much. This film gives us a headache just thinking about it. Because Heigl isn’t in any of the primary romantic couplings, her character becomes the least annoying of the bunch.

New Year’s Eve (2011)

To be honest, we forgot about Heigl in this film, which is probably for the best given it’s so horrible. She portrays a chef who makes out with Jon Bon Jovi at one point, which may be interpreted as either a positive or negative depending on your feelings. It’s your life, after all (sorry, not sorry).
