The story of Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s relationship, and how charming the couple is

Story of our favorite Bollywood couple

‘They couldn’t possibly last!’ This was the media’s judgment when Kajol and Ajay Devgn stole the show by marrying in real life. Because of their opposing personalities, critics dubbed them an “unlikely pair.” Kajol was a live wire who would burst into boisterous laughter at the drop of a hat, whilst Ajay was quiet and introverted.

Few people expected the romance to endure long, let alone lead to marriage. Despite the media’s assumptions, Ajay Devgn and Kajol married after a four-year relationship and are still together.

In a previous interview, Kajol admitted that she didn’t like Ajay at first. The actress previously remarked that as a cheery person, she found it difficult to get along with Ajay Devgn, who is a diehard introvert. However, after spending some time together, the two became friends and eventually began dating. The pair had been dating for four years but had never told anyone about their relationship; this was a crucial step in their relationship. Kajol, who could often be found reading a ‘Mills and Boon’ novel, had finally fallen in love with Ajay Devgn, her Mr. Right. She explained their relationship in an earlier interview with a media source, saying:

We never resorted to the usual ‘I love you’ routine. A proposal never happened. We grew with each other. Marriage was never discussed, but it was always imminent.

Kajol and Ajay Devgn, dubbed the “unlikely pair” of the film business, married in traditional Maharashtrian style on February 24, 1999. Ajay Devgn, who is known for his shyness in front of the media, had always intended the wedding to be a private occasion. Even for the wedding, the actor refused to employ professional photographers, insisting that he would be the only one with a camera. As a result, the images were completely candid, up close, and personal. Kajol and Ajay, the newlywed pair, had traveled for a two-month vacation in Europe shortly after their wedding.

Their marriage had many ups and downs, no matter how lovely their romance was. Kajol’s in-laws were said to be a thorn in her side after their wedding. The actress, on the other hand, had spoken out aggressively against the charges in the press. In addition, the pair was subjected to a number of media attacks. Ajay’s reported affair with a considerably younger actress was revealed in one of the prominent publications.
In one of her previous interviews with a news portal, Kajol discussed claims that she was having trouble reconciling with her in-laws. As a result, she and her husband, Ajay Devgn, have begun to see fissures in their relationship. The actress, however, refuted all of the charges, saying:

I don’t believe in those rumors because I know the way this industry functions. You cannot continue a marriage without basic trust. Frankly, I don’t care for such talk.

It was the year 2001, and Kajol was expecting her first child. The Devgn family was expecting their first child, but Kajol had miscarried in the sixth month of her first pregnancy. Her husband, Ajay, had briefed the public about the situation with much dignity in his grief. Along with the sad comment, the adoring husband put an end to any rumors that he and Kajol were experiencing marital problems by declaring that ‘they’re happy together.’

The couple was given a second opportunity at motherhood two years after their miscarriage. Nysa, their beautiful daughter, was born on April 20, 2003, to Kajol and her husband. On September 13, 2010, Kajol gave birth to a baby boy, whom the couple called Yug, seven years later.

Since then, Kajol has made parenthood her top goal in life. She had turned down multiple offers from the industry over the years in order to stay at home with her children. While Ajay’s daughter, Nysa, is his weakness, he despises it when he has a day off and she is not present. In a previous interview with a major news outlet, Kajol discussed the personality contrasts between her and her husband, Ajay Devgn. While she described herself as a “mean” person, the adoring wifey gushed over her husband, saying that he is a better person than her.
