John Abraham is famous for his power-packed performance in high-octane action films. And one of his most acclaimed action films was Force 2 which marks 8 years of its release today. The leading man was praised for his acting and performing his own stunts in the hit film. But did you know that John Abraham suffered a major injury while shooting on the sets of Force 2?

During the filming of Force 2, John Abraham accidentally injured his knee whilst doing some high-octane stunts in Budapest. John had hurt his knee badly and the doctor at the place advised that the leg would have to be amputated. However, when he sought the advice of the Doctors in India, he was given better advice and informed that he shall not lose the leg.

Force 2 was a sequel to Force that was released in 2011, picking the plot up where ACP Yashvardhan, portrayed by John Abraham, left off. This time Yashvardhan is a tough and no-nonsense cop with a very tedious mission of tracking and eliminating a skilled assassin, as well as dealing with an even greater mystery.

The film was directed by Abhinay Deo which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Parveez Shaikh and Jasmeet K Reen penned the script of the film. Force 2 was produced by John and one of the biggest producers in the industry, Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The producer is known to back some high-intense films like Bastar: The Naxal Story and The Kerala Story.
