Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire marked a milestone for director Prashanth Neel, Prabhas, and Hombale Films, setting new benchmarks at the box office. Garnering immense acclaim, the film’s success has made its sequel, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, one of the most eagerly awaited cinematic events. Fans are brimming with anticipation for this epic continuation of the saga. Recently, director Prashanth Neel teased a glimpse of a pivotal scene from the sequel, further fueling the excitement.

Director Prashanth Neel revealed that a seemingly exaggerated scene in Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire has a deep meaning and is connected to one of the most brilliant moments in Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. In the scene, Deva picks up a plastic knife and his mother, played by Easwari Rao is horrified when he does it.

The director says, “There’s a scene in Salaar where Deva picks up a knife and she treats it as a horror scene. Is it exaggerated? It is definitely not exaggerated. I mean you’ll have to wait for Part 2 to understand why she does that. It’s also one of the highlights of what I feel is one of the most brilliant scenes in Salaar 2. So there’s a reason for that.”
