Emraan Hashmi, one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, is known for his versatility and ability to portray complex characters. Early in his career, he captivated audiences with morally ambiguous roles, such as a scheming lover in Murder (2004), a street-smart con artist in Jannat (2008), and a gangster in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010). Over time, Emraan’s roles have evolved, transitioning to intense characters, especially in patriotic and army officer-based films. He is now set to play a real-life army officer for the first time in his upcoming film Ground Zero, showcasing his ability to tackle diverse and impactful roles in Indian cinema.

Emraan previously played a fictional character, Kabir Anand, a former Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) agent in Bard of Blood (2019). Tasked with rescuing Indian agents, he delivered a gripping performance, blending intense action and patriotism, earning praise for his remarkable portrayal of emotions and strategy.

Emraan also played the menacing antagonist Aatish Rehman, a rogue ex-ISI agent with a personal vendetta, in Tiger 3 (2023). His intense and layered performance made him a formidable villain in the franchise. Emraan’s chilling presence, blending ruthless aggression with calculated strategy, earned him immense praise for his negative role.

And now, in his next Ground Zero, Emraan is set to portray the role of an army officer in Ground Zero, where he plays BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, who led one of the most significant operations in BSF history.
