Sohum shared, “I don’t over-intellectualize my choices. If I like a story and the character resonates with me, I dive in.” The actor further added, “I’m not a trained actor, but I approach each character as if it’s a living, breathing entity. I find correlations to my own experiences and channel those emotions.”
Sohum also shared a heartwarming anecdote about working on the film, Simran, saying, “Hansal Sir (Mehta, director) gave me Rs 500 as a token of shagun when I signed the film. It was such a simple, heartfelt gesture – it sealed the deal for me.”
Sohum’s next big projects are Tumbbad 2, which promises to continue the beloved saga, and Crazxy, a film from Sohum Shah Films slated for release on March 7, 2025.
