In a recent interview, producer K. E. Gnanavel Raja was asked, about the trend of 1000 Cr. collection becoming the new topic of K-Town and is he sure Kanguva will create history by becoming first 1000-Cr Tamil Movie, he replied, “I intend to submit the GST from Studio Green and provide the appropriate documentation regarding the Kanguva Box Office Collection. In the future, all interested parties may verify this information with other producers to ensure they are aware of the genuine Box Office collection reports”
Moreover, when he was asked, Are you confident that Kanguva will achieve the milestone of entering the 1000-Cr club in box office collections?, he said, “I am expecting 2000Cr BO collection, and why are you underestimating it with 1000Cr-mark.”
‘Kanguva’ is the biggest and most expensive film of this year. With an estimated budget of over 350 crore, it’s bigger than the likes of Pushpa, Singham, and several other big films. Moreover, the film has been shot across seven different countries on various continents of India. The makers had a very specific look in mind, as this is a very unique film showing the prehistoric period. The makers hired experts from Hollywood for the technical departments like action and cinematography. The film has one of the biggest war sequences, featuring over 10,000 people.
