This month marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a biographical sports drama directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in 2013. To honor the late Indian Sprint legend Milkha Singh, COO of Viacom18 Studios Ajit Andhare and Executive Producer of the film P.S. Bharathi from ROMP Pictures will be re-releasing the inspiring movie on August 6th in selected theaters. The re-release will be special, as it will be shown with special features for hearing and speech-impaired individuals in 30 cities across India.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a cinematic masterpiece from the Indian film industry that chronicles the incredible journey of the late Milkha Singh, portrayed by Farhan Akhtar. The film depicts how he overcame numerous obstacles to become a world champion, Olympian, and one of India’s most revered athletes. Additionally, there will be a special screening on July 26th for individuals who are hearing and speech-impaired at PVR Icon in Andheri West, Mumbai. The cast will also be in attendance to pay tribute to the late Milkha Singh.
