The anticipation builds for Sanjay Leela Bhansalis next Love & War. It’s thrilling to look forward to the monumental collaboration of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the talented trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal on the big screen in the film.

With his recent film Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal has delivered a blockbuster and his next is one of the most awaited films of next year, Love And War. The film already seemed exciting due to the association of these stalwarts. Does the boost in Vicky Kaushal’s star power post-Chhaava further enhance the hype of this film?

Trade experts are confident that Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-Vicky Kaushal’s Love And War is now a much bigger film after the blockbuster success of Chhava.

Trade veteran Taran Adarsh began by saying, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali and S S Rajamouli are the best filmmakers that we have today. Hence, Love And War will be huge.” He then stated, “The acceptability is there (for Vicky Kaushal) and you need that mass support which this film has given him. For instance, Ranbir Kapoor is also a fantastic actor but a film like Rockstar (2011) would not give him that reach like Animal would.”

Trade analyst Atul Mohan exulted, “Definitely its excitement is even more, especially since there are two actors in the cast who have delivered a Rs. 500 crore grosser each. Moreover, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making some great films. Hence, the excitement level for it would be skyhigh and the film will get all the love.”

Girish Johar, producer and film business analyst, explained, “That film will definitely show his acting prowess. It’s different and I guess more somber than Chhaava. Hence, he’ll get to show his versatility. Moreover, it is backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and so, it would be huge. It gives a déjà vu of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1998). It was also a two-hero-one-heroine film and everyone benefited from it. Its songs are working even today. Coincidentally, it was also directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali!”

Vishek Chauhan, owner of Roopbani Cinema in Purnia, Bihar, replied, “If your second lead has given a bigger hit than the first lead, then it definitely adds a lot of value to the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be under pressure (to do justice to them). Vicky must also be putting some pressure on Bhansali so that his newfound image after Chhaava remains consistent.”
