At Prime Video Presents, India, the upcoming Tamil Original series ‘Inspector Rishi’ stole the spotlight with its spine-chilling trailer, which left everyone craving for more. To amp up the anticipation for the horror crime-drama series, a special press conference was held in Hyderabad with creator Nandhini J.S. and the stellar star cast, including Naveen Chandra, Sunainaa, Kanna Ravi, and Srikrishna Dayal. At the press conference, the team showcased the trailer of the series, and it received a thunderous response from the media. Following the trailer screening, the team engaged in an insightful conversation with journalists about the series. Now, the series is all set to premiere on Prime Video.
“I was always fascinated by the horror-crime genre, and Inspector Rishi is a fruit of my hardwork and patience as I started writing the script for the show in 2010.” said creator, Nandhini J.S. “I wanted to create a story which is locally rooted but has a global appeal. The whole team has worked tirelessly making this dream project come true and I am thrilled with the amazing response to the trailer. Inspector Rishi is a crime branch inspector who investigates a series of murders in a remote village in Tamil Nadu. Along with two sub-inspectors, Ayyanar and Chitra, Rishi unravels the mysteries behind these murders that involve paranormal elements. Despite facing personal challenges, Rishi remains committed to solving these cases. The series, created and written by Nandhini JS and produced by Shukdev Lahiri, features versatile actor Naveen Chandra in the lead role, alongside Sunainaa, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevarathnam, Srikrishna Dayal, and Kumaravel in pivotal roles. The ten-episode series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on March 29, in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada languages.
