Every role that the amiable actor Rajkummar Rao takes on requires him to step outside of his comfort zone. Rajkummar Roy is known for his versatility. He can play the role of a romantic fool, an idealistic lawyer, a murder investigator, or a fun guy. He carved out a special place for himself in Bollywood with his ground-breaking performance and commanding screen presence. His ideal sport is role-playing experimentation. These are the three must-see movies when the actor captured our hearts through his versatile acting skills

Bareilly ki Barfi

Without Pritam Vidrohi, “Bareilly ki Barfi” by Ayushman Khurana and Kriti Sanon wouldn’t taste as “sweet.” Rao had excellent acting as he quickly transitioned between two personas—a believable saree salesperson and a roughneck. Despite being a lighthearted love story, his performance was whistle-worthy, and it made the audience happy at every turn. The protagonist of the narrative is Bitti, a vivacious young woman whose love for an author is complicated by her encounters with Chirag and Pritam.

Stree

Rajkumar Rao once more displayed his versatility in the horror comedy Stree directed by Amar Kaushik. There is a woman spirit named “Stree” in the small town of Chanderi that kidnaps men at night. Men dread her, but a tailor develops feelings for her. Rao outperformed everyone with a strong performance. His character stood out without being overshadowed because to a wonderful balance of dread and humour. The movie gave Bollywood’s scary humour a fresh start.

Newton

Rajkumar Rao’s genius was Amit Masurkar’s Newton. The protagonist of the critically praised film Newton is a government official who is assigned to a troubled region to oversee fair voting on election day. Despite the turbulent circumstances and impending fear of attacks, the man is willing to go to whatever lengths to carry out his duty. Rao’s outstanding performance and bold storytelling earned the movie an official nomination for the Oscars.
