The most eagerly awaited movie of the year was Aamir Khan’s rendition of the highly acclaimed Forrest Gump. But unfortunately, even though much effort had gone into making the movie, it failed to garner the necessary numbers at the box office.
Aamir Khan has declared his retirement from acting due to the failure, stating that he wants to spend more time with his family. However, the actor will make a cameo appearance in Salaam Venky, the forthcoming film by Revathy.
Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan’s take on the universally praised Forrest Gump, was one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year. Unfortunately, despite the many years of laborious effort to make a movie of this caliber, the box office performance was unfavorable.
Aamir Khan Talks about his Failure
Due to this failure, Khan needed some time away from acting to reflect, and he recently announced his break from acting, claiming the need to spend more time with his family as the cause. But the celebrity will appear in Salaam Venky, the much-awaited film by Revathy.
Aamir Khan made it clear on Wednesday that he would not appear in any movies for at least a year as he walked down the red carpet at Salaam Venky’s premiere. “You can see me in this small role. I am not doing anything,” said Aamir.
Salaam Venky’s story
The tale of a youngster with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and his relationship with his mother will be told by Salaam Venky in the meanwhile. The movie will also include Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, Kamal Sadanah, Aahana Kumra, and Kajol and Vishal Jethwa in significant parts.
