Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is an upcoming Hindi romance film, by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the leads. Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi are also featured in the movie.
“It’s a wrap for you, what better song to say goodbye,” Karan Johar tells Alia in a clip he shared on Instagram. Alia Bhatt without no hesitating, promptly broke into the iconic dance steps from Channa Mereya, which can be heard playing in the video. The song is from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also directed by Karan Johar and starring her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Karan Johar captioned the short video with, “A talkie wrap on my Rani! Watch Rocky cheer her on! And excuse my excited and crazy camera moves! Rani ne kaam kar liya on this prem kahani! Ab Rocky tu bhi aaja wrap ke maidan me! Song selection is from my emotional library.”
With ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani ‘ Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were reunited after Gully Boy. The film was expected to release in February 2023 but will be pushed ahead due to Alia’s pregnancy.
