Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who has given us a plethora of hit films, recently reveal a piece of trivia about his film Deewar. He took to Instagram and shared his iconic look in a shirt that was knotted and revealed that the shirt was by mistake made so long hence they had to knot it up. Amitabh wrote that there was no time to replace the shirt or the actor and hence the team improvised.
Sharing a picture of himself, he worte, “Those were the days my friend .. and the knotted shirt .. it has a story .. first day of shoot .. shot ready .. camera about to roll .. and the discovery that the shirt has been made too long – beyond the knees .. director could not wait for another shirt or a replaced actor .. so tied it up in a knot and…”
The 1975 film Deewar was written by Salim-Javed and was directed by Yash Chopra. The film starred Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Neetu Singh, Nirupa Roy and Parveen Babi. Deewar was highly appreciated by both fans and critics.
Amitabh is gearing up for his next film Goodbye. Big B will next be seen in Chehre, where he plays the role of a criminal lawyer. Amitabh will also be seen in Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
