With the pandemic shifting down, it seems Bollywood is again raining with back-to-back films once again. That being said, we already are set to watch some big-budget movies this year, coming these months. Starting from Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha to Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra.
However, reports of now are stating that the Barfi director Anurag Basu is all set to make a stellar cinematic spectacle with Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. And if it’s to happen we can expect to see the supreme jodi together soon on tv screens.
A source close to Pink Villa, “Anurag Basu is trying to develop a screenplay for Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. While the basic idea has been conceptualized by AKP aka. Aamir Khan Production, its Basu, who has come on board to weave a screenplay with the inhouse team of actors. The movie is in a very nascent stage at the moment, in-fact, the duo of AK and RK will decide on doing it only once they are absolutely satisfied with the final output.”
The source added, “Being the perfectionist that Aamir is, he wants to have a visual blueprint of what the film would look like. If everything falls in the right place, the film will take off sometime next year. Right now, it’s in a very very nascent stage, with the two actors agreeing in principle on the idea of coming together on one of India’s biggest cinematic spectacles,”
On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently all busy with his upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha in August, starring alongside Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya. While Ranbir Kapoor is all busy with his September release Brahmastra along with his beau-wife Alia Bhatt.
