ANUSHKA SHARMA’S CAMEO IN QALA

The movie Qala, which is presently available on Netflix to view, stars Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, and Babil Khan. In a black-and-white montage of the song Ghode Pe Sawaar, the Bollywood diva can be seen in the movie and she looks stunning. She resembled the retro version of a queen dressed in a white saree.

Anushka Sharma’s brief presence in the movie caused a social media flurry, and since then, she has received a tonne of love from her admirers. One person responded to the cameo by writing, “OMGGGGGG! It’s wonderful to see #AnushkaSharma back in action after a four-year absence,” while another user wrote on Twitter, “Just can’t get over Anushka Sharma’s appearance as a retro queen in Qala.”

The production company Clean SlateFilms, run by Karnesh Sharma, the brother of Anushka Sharma, supported the movie Qala. Anushka, however, has only glowing things to say about the movie. In a note of appreciation she posted for Qala, she wrote, “A daughter’s heartbreaking yearning for her mother’s love. A piece of art, Qala.

At the same time, it’s thrilling and painful. Qala is currently streaming on @netflix and it’s exhilarating due to the brilliance of each department that shines through in telling this intricate tale and is painful because it depicts emotional abuse by an emotionally unstable father in a way that has never been done before in a film.”

Meanwhile, Anushka’s Chakda ‘Xpress marks her first film after the birth of her baby daughter Vamika whom they welcomed into their lives in 2021.
