The same can be said of the love story of actress Asin Thittumkal and Rahul Sharma. Well, their love story is certainly described as a Ghajini affair. Asin and Akshay Kumar were on board their journey to Dhaka for the promotion of the film Housefull 2, when Akshay introduced Rahul his best friend to Asin. The two of them met, but only later did Asin get to know that the owner of the private jet from which she came was also Rahul. When Asin came to know that Rahul is such a big millionaire, but still he is such a simple and grounded person, Asin was very impressed with him. After that event, both of them took each other’s numbers and their conversation started.
Rahul fell in love with Asin and was determined to marry her. However, she wanted to know him better. They had a silent affair for many years without the media glare affecting them.
During the shooting of the film All Is Well, Asin said in an interview, ‘Yes, I am dating Rahul and we are going to get married soon.’ Asin had also said that the love story of both is similar to the story of Ghajini. Asin had told that Rahul has always tried to keep her happy and she feels very lucky.
Rahul proposed Asin in a very romantic way. He invited the actress to the Presidential Suite of a luxury hotel in Delhi and organized a treasure hunt for her where Asin is seen sitting on Rahul’s knees and holding a rig in his hands. Rahul proposes to Asin in Malayalam language, which he has been practicing for a long time. Talking about the ring, Rahul gave Asin a 20 carat solitaire ring in which AR was written.
Both got married in 2016, after which Asin has taken the decision of moving away from acting. They have a daughter by name Arin and Asin is happy with her married life.
