Mahesh Babu, the Prince of Tollywood, is one of the most prominent and highest-paid actors in the South Indian film industry. He started his career working as a child artist in Needa in 1979. In 1999, he made his lead debut with Rajakumarudu and also won the State Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.

Recently, Mahesh released the poster of his film 1 – Nenokkadine, which also starred Kriti Sanon in the lead. While fans were overjoyed, South actress Samantha Akkineni was apparently upset. As per reports in Koi Moi, Samantha in her Twitter reaction called the poster regressive. She wrote, “Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive, but its point is actually that it is deeply regressive.”

Later, Mahesh in an interview as per Bollywood Life, said he expected Samantha to discuss her opinion. “Look, Samantha knows me and my wife Namrata. If she found anything regressive about the poster she could have checked with me first. Instead, she went and posted her views online. She shouldn’t have done that. At least she could have tried to speak to us.”
