Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan frequently mention one another in interviews and on social media. Shah Rukh recently remarked that working with Salman was a “brotherly experience” and suggested that Salman would appear in a song in his future movie, Pathaan. Salman mentioned Shah Rukh’s Mumbai house, Mannat, in a recent interview as the one thing he wishes he possessed. Salman claimed that Mannat was initially offered to him, but he turned it down.
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have appeared in featured roles in each other’s movies and even shared a leading role in the 1995 film Karan Arjun. According to rumors, the stars may soon appear in a thriller directed by Aditya Chopra. Although Salman and Shah Rukh Khan are great friends, there was a time when they were not speaking after an incident at actress Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008.
In an interview with journalist Faridoon Shahryar, Salman responded when asked what one item Shah Rukh Khan possessed that he wished he had: “That bungalow of his” (Mannat). But when I was just getting started, I had experienced it first. Itne bade Ghar mein tum karoge kya, as per my father, Salim Khan, a film producer, and screenwriter. So what does he do in such a vast mansion is what I want to ask Shah Rukh.”
