Despite the commercial success of the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Angelina Jolie, who’s been the lead in the film, wasn’t happy enough with her character in the film. She was disappointed with it for not being s*xy enough and wasn’t even interested to take up the role in the first place but given several elements to it, the actress agreed to essay the role.
“I wasn’t satisfied with it. Through the making of that film, we were all still trying [to] figure out how things worked, and we were trying to make the video game into a person, but still, it was the video game, and still, she was a video vixen, and she wasn’t quite a solid woman with emotions and feelings,” said Angelina Jolie speaking about it.
She continued, “Even the way she looked wasn’t to me s*xy and real enough. So there were a lot of things, and we couldn’t adjust to everything right. We thought a lot about how to make the second film right,” and now it’s been stated that as the makers are all set to make its sequel they would correct the mistakes in the first part, as stated in Koi Moi.
