Gangubai Kathiawadi is one of the most anticipated films, helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film shall feature Alia Bhatt as the lead, along with Ajay Devgn, Seem Pahwa and Huma Qureshi in a special appearance as stated in Pink Villa.
However, reportedly in the same web portal, Nawauddin Siddiqui has also been approached for a role in the film, however, things didn’t work out in the end.
A source close to Pink Villa, said, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui was offered the role of a journalist in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Both the actor and the maker were keen to collaborate too, however, it didn’t work out because of the date issues,”
