Aamir Khan has never failed to wow us with his fine acting skills and back-to-back blockbuster hits, and his 2012 movie Taalash, where he starred along with Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji, became one of his successful films, for which Khan also got immensely praised with his role. However, not many know that not Aamir Khan but SRK was the first choice for the movie.
Before the movie went to Aamir Khan, the role was offered to Shah Rukh Khan. However, the latter wasn’t very convinced with the story and so rejected it. During the music launch when Aamir Khan was asked the same, he said he wasn’t aware.
Aamir Khan said, “I didn’t know about it. Even for my other films, I’ve no idea who they are offered to first before they come to me. But the next time someone offers me a film; I will include this question (among other queries).”
Soon after, the director of the film Reema Kagti was asked the same question she rubbished the news and said, “I would rather not talk about things that didn’t work out. What’s important and why we all are here is for things that did work out. Such things happen all the time in films. Aamir said that he can’t imagine anyone else in the roles played by Kareena and Rani. Likewise, I feel the same about my three principal cast members.” As quoted by Koi Moi.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is currently all busy with his upcoming 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha which is to get released in August. He is going to star along with Kareena Kapoor and South star Naga Chaitanya.
