Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya is soon to get released in theatres this coming August. Bollywood’s perfectionist has been working quite hard on it, and the film recently dropped its first song Kahani, and in a podcast, he revealed how he, Amitabh and Pritam thrived to make the song.
Talking about the same in the podcast Aamir Khan said, “Amitabh and Pritam sat down to make the song. We headed to Panchgani to work on the song. I have a home in Panchgani.. Kiran (Rao) and I have a home in Panchgani. So, we head there to work on the song. Sometimes, we also go for rehearsals. Over there, creative work turns out to be good. They (Amitabh and Pritam) locked themselves in a room and we could hear instruments strumming. Whereas, we used to work on dialogues, costumes and some other things in the garden.”
In the same podcast, the actor also revealed that making Laal Singh Chaddha has been in the pipeline for 14 years now, for him. The actor said, that it took him quite some time to get the rights. The film is the remake of Tom Hanks’ award-winning film Forrest Gump.
