Pooja Sawant, the young diva, who appears in Marathi movies made her debut in Sachit Patil’s multistarrer film Kshanbhar Vishranti in 2010. The actress appeared in Marathi film Zhakaas alongside Ankush Choudhary, Amruta Khanvilkar and Sai Tamhankar. The movie was a critical and commercial success and was declared a blockbuster.

Bali: Pooja starrer ‘Bali’ helmed by Vishal Furia was scheduled to release in April 2021 in theatres. The makers postponed the film’s release date owing to strict COVID-19 regulations in the state.
Dagdi Chawl: The makers of the hit film ‘Dagdi Chawl’ announced the upcoming sequel ‘Dagdi Chawl 2’ helmed by Chandrakant Kanse on the auspicious occasion of Navami in 2019. It also reunites Ankush Chaudhari and Pooja Sawant in lead roles.
Luv U Mitra: Pooja Sawant and Gashmeer Mahajani are all set to reunite once again on the big screen for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Luv U Mitra’ helmed by first-time director Mansi Bagla.
Vijeta: Subhash Ghai’s multi starrer sports drama ‘Vijeta’ was released on 12th March. Due to Pandemic, the makers have postponed the film’s release date and have decided to wait until cinema halls re-open completely. It also sees Subodh Bhave, Pooja Sawant, Sushant Shelar, Pritam Kagne and Madhav Deochake in lead roles.
