She would be able to portray the adored comic book character. Despite the fact that Anne appears to be, at the very least, a completely skilled actor and a kind, bright person in interviews, people tend to have some strange thoughts about her (at least to me). Although Catwoman is my all-time favorite comic book character, even I was concerned about Anne’s potential for the Dark Knight since she appeared too sweet to give her the essential darkness and edge.
To my own surprise, we found Anne Hathaway to be completely believable in the role when we saw the movie on opening weekend. Her performance was one of the best in the picture.
