Mallika Sherawat, the popular Bollywood babe, made a strong comeback on the silver screen with Rajat Kapoor’s RK/RKay. Although Mallika has been in the industry for around 20 years and has featured in an array of films of different genres, she is largely remembered for her glamorous roles.
As per reports in Times Now, Mallika revealed that she always wanted to play different kinds of parts but filmmakers never came to her with serious characters. “I wish that more filmmakers write parts like Gulabo and that more filmmakers cast me in those roles. It is not like I never wanted to play serious parts, the filmmakers never offered me one. I have always wanted to play different parts. I have done films like Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Welcome, and Dasavatharam,” Mallika told us.
She continued, “But I feel OTT is a game changer as far as actresses are concerned. It is a very exciting space and all sorts of parts are being written for women. The best part is that the audience is accepting actresses in those parts. Take Delhi Crime for example.”
