She chooses the perfect ginger- carrot soup. And it is prepared like this.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pot. Add finely chopped garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute. Add sliced onions and saute. Add chopped potatoes and saute. Cut the carrot into round slices and add them. Add sprig and 4 cups of water or vegetable stock to the pot. Add salt as per taste and cover the pot with a lid. Let all ingredients cook for 15 minutes. Take an immersion blender and blend to make a smooth mixture. Now strain the soup through a sieve. Add black pepper powder.
