Jessica Alba has always been open and hearty with her life and happenings, and in an interview recently, Jessica Alba spoke how an episode that changed her life in and out, followed by a lifetime awakening that happened back in 2021, in different episodes that propelled her to take major decisions in life.
Back the time, she realised what she wanted to pursue in life. She says, “When I took the company public and I was the youngest Latina to take a company public on Nasdaq, I realized how important it is for us to see ourselves in those spaces and how there’s such a lack of diversity of women in leadership across media, government, business.”
She added that she wanted to be indulged in the space where she has the power and ability to bring change, she said, “I just feel like the more we can see women in power, black, brown, and any woman of colour…I think that we’ll just make more space for diversity and obviously better outcomes for all and more fairness and equality.”
That’s how it initiated a new approach and a beginning in her life. She continued saying, “I always think outside the box, it’s just my nature. And I really kind of had a moment last year and I was like, “Okay, there’s a whole new way, a new lens to approach the rest of my life and thinking about how to make more women, particularly in my community, feel seen, and heard in these spaces that you don’t normally see us.”
And that’s how she ventured into production and took interest more in finances and not acting. Alba said, “It’s about not feeding into the stereotype or the stigma and highlighting different types of stories and different characters.” As quoted by Remezcla.
