The most prominent and famous actress in the Bollywood industry, Kangana Ranaut, is stealing the hearts of fans. Kangana Ranaut is gearing up with her upcoming film Emergency. Kangana Ranaut will not only play Indira Gandhi in the movie, which is set during the Emergency of 1975, but she will also be donning the director’s hat. She has also posted updates and pictures from the movie set on a regular basis. Now, in her most recent post, she has disclosed that she is taking a break or, as she prefers to refer to it, a “pause day” from the film shoot today.
On her Instagram page, Kangana posted a photo of her dressed as Indira Gandhi and in sharp focus. She included a photo of herself in the post dressed as she usually would be in a pink outfit. She wrote a big caption and stated, “Today is a break day, I don’t call it a break; I call it a pause day….On such a blank beat, you wonder where did you lose yourself….. You dissolve in the character and find that nothing of you is left in you.”
She added, “You see your own pictures like a stranger and wonder will ever be the same ….. the truth is you can never go back to being the same person, once a character has happened to you it remains like a scar on the soul, like the darkness of the night, like the glow of the moon, like a realisation you can’t own, like a million shining suns, like the dizzying heights of the mountains and suffocating depths of the sea….. a character will remain regardless of you … #emergency.”
