The most well-known film to have recently emerged from Kannada cinema is Kantara. Shetty played a Kambala champion who clashed with an honorable DRFO officer named Murali in the action-thriller movie written, directed, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner (Kishore).
The supporting cast included Sapthami Gowda and Achyuth Kumar. Along with dominating the Kannada box office, the movie also enjoyed a stellar run in the Hindi markets. Rishab Shetty and the Kantara fans are ecstatic about this milestone, as the movie has now successfully run for 100 days.

Rishab Shetty used his Instagram account to display the posters for his “divine blockbuster” and a statement of thanks to the cast, crew, and his supporters, who helped the actor and director succeed. He captioned his post, “Thank You for holding us all along the journey and finding the divinity. Celebrating #DivineBlockbusterKantara 100 Days ? A film we’ll always cherish that took us back to our roots n made us fell in awe of our traditions. Kudos to everyone who made it happen.”
Naturally, there were many happy comments on Rishab Shetty’s milestone post.
