Bollywood movies have come in all genres of entertainment. While we have seen a lot of thriller concepts being made for the digital platform in the last few years, it is the right blend of horror and comedy that sells usually on the big screen. Yes, there have been a lot of films made which cater to the horror genre but with a lot of comic elements in it which add to the flavour of the plot.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: This recent release starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu fall into this category for sure. This Anees Bazmee directorial which is the season 2 of Bhool Bhulaiyaa made with Akshay Kumar earlier, has this engaging and gripping horror plot which is very cutely mixed with the comic elements.
Stree: This film directed by Amar Kaushik had Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor playing the leads. The story again had its amazing comic moments which were rib-tickling to the core, but had the nail-biting horror element too.
Roohi: This film starring Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma made by Dinesh Vijan again falls into this horror-comedy concept.
So guys, seems like this is the new trend!!
