Krishna Shroff, Tiger Shroff’s sister is one of the popular fitness enthusiasts in the country. The star fitness expert has always spoken her mind, whether it is about fitness or her relationships. With that, recently the actress gave her views on fitness in an interview with Bombay Times.
She said, “Life has been a massive roller coaster ride, to say the least!”, the star began her fitness journey 6 years back, and it’s been one of a kind struggle, as she says, “I’ll forever be grateful for finding fitness as it’s changed my life immensely. The most important thing to remember is that consistency is key.”
However the star doesn’t take interest in film industry, “I’ve always been one to follow my passions and stay true and as authentic to who I am. If something doesn’t resonate with me, I won’t do it. I’m extremely happy doing what I’m doing because I honestly believe health and fitness is the most booming industry today.
Talking about her challenges, she said, ““100 percent. Nobody can do the work for you. You have to be so self-motivated, focused, and disciplined in order to achieve your goals. I’m an extremely social person and love going out; however, I had to miss out on many good times and night out with friends in order to achieve what I wanted to do and get to where I want to be. There’s still a long way to go and there’s room for improvement every single day.” She also said that how body-shaming affected her, saying, “When I was a young teenager, I remember it used to affect me greatly. It made me extremely conscious of my appearance and created insecurities within me that I never experienced before. I was able to channelise all of that and become who I am today. I made the changes not just physically, but mentally as well. I have a new found sense of confidence and drive that I didn’t necessarily have before, so I’m thankful for it all. People do need to realise how much their words can affect someone and how important it is to be kind or not say anything if they have nothing nice to say because not everyone can take it in their stride or use it as motivation to better themselves. Instead, they can be completely disheartened.”
