During the most recent episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Akshay Kumar reflected on his 30-year film career. The actor talked about his accomplishments as well as his unsuccessful undertakings. Speaking of the 2002 supernatural movie Jaani Dushman, Akshay Kumar said it assisted him in purchasing the residence he presently occupies. “You won’t believe it, but Jaani Dushman helped me obtain the funds necessary to purchase the home I currently reside in.”

He admitted that the movie’s original plan for his character was for him to pass away. He did, indeed, succeed in getting the director to spare his character’s life. Therefore, Akshay could add five more days of filming to the project and earn more money. Akshay stated about working with Sunny Deol, “I was working on a per-day basis, and there was a scene where the villain kills me, and I am dead. I got to know that the other hero who is going to be acting now got stuck in New York and could not make it in time.”

“I went up to the director and asked him if I had to come back again.” In addition, Akshay Kumar talked about his first commercial shot, for which he was paid 21,000 for two hours. He claimed, “When I first entered the field, I had no clue; all I wanted was to make money.” He also remembered a period when he was earning Rs 5,000 per month while teaching martial arts, but when he got an offer to get featured in an advertisement, he was paid Rs 21,000 for just two hours of work. He decided to pursue acting and make money at that point.
