Mrunal Thakur who is all set for her upcoming film Jersey along with Shahid Kapoor has revealed that she decides for herself and it’s the learning she took from Geet from the movie Jab We Met featuring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. The actress confessed that she still can’t get Geet out of her system.
Talking to Harper’s Baazar, she said, “I can never get Jab We Met out of my system, especially when Geet [essayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan] says, ‘Ye mere decisions hai’ [These are my decisions]. Today, I decide for myself because I know the consequences will be mine. I want to take charge of my life; not sit around and let someone else decide for me (sic).” As quoted by India Today.
It’s true that the actress has definitely come a long way in the industry, and there’s no looking back now. And now not just Jersey Mrunal has also another film lined up, Pippa along with Ishaan Khatter, Shahid Kapoor’s brother.
