According to Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas is an expert snowboarder while she is far behind and nearly gives up skiing. In order for Priyanka to “catch up” with Nick, Nick gave her a snowmobile during their vacation a few years back.
High-end sports and fashion brand that specializes in clothing for skiing and surfing was recently purchased by the couple. This is their first financial commitment to a clothes company.
In a recent interview with Variety, Priyanka discussed her relationship with skiing and said, “I grew up in India and I wasn’t exposed to ski culture. But I did love the mountains. My dad took us to Kashmir every summer and I filmed a lot in Switzerland, so ski culture was something that I got familiar with. However, I never tried skiing until I met my husband, who’s an avid snowboarder.”
She continued, “I came to the quick conclusion that I’m more an après-ski (relaxation after skiing) girl, rather than skiing. I gave up on the bunny slope. My husband did buy me a snowmobile so I could keep up with him.”
At a coastal resort, Priyanka just celebrated her 40th birthday. She was joined by her singer-husband Nick Jonas and a few of their close friends; however, none of the photos from the celebrations include their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. For the actor’s birthday, Nick had made special preparations, including a banner that said “Priyanka! The Jewel of July Est. 1982” and placards.
He posted a series of images from the celebrations on Instagram, saying: “Happy birthday to the gem of July, my (heart emoji). I’m incredibly grateful to have you along for this crazy life adventure. @priyankachopra I adore you”. The images showed them dining at a restaurant, watching fireworks at night, and cuddling on the beach.
