Did you know that in 1998, Shah Rukh called Salman on stage at an awards show to give the thank you speech on his behalf?
When Shah Rukh won the Best Actor award for Dil To Pagal Hai at the Zee Cine Awards in 1998, he came on stage and expressed how wonderful he felt to be the recipient.
He then went on to say, “There’s a very close friend of mine who has been saying, ‘Shah Rukh, tereko humesha award milta hai, mereko nahi milta hai,'” and invited Salman on stage to deliver the thank you speech on his behalf.
