Check out how Rashmika Mandanna felt being away from her little sister and working. The actress also couldn't get to see her grow up

Rashmika Mandanna felt pain when separated from her 8-year-old sister and couldn’t see her grow up. The popular South and Hindi cinema actress started her career in showbiz 6 years ago. The diva kickstarted her acting in the Kannada film Kirik Party. Her career began at the age of 20. The Geetha Govindam actress recalled being a second mother to her little sister Shiman Mandanna. However, she had to move away from home frequently due to work commitments.

In an interview, Rashmika Mandanna, for her upcoming film Goodbye was asked about how she feels being away from family. As in the movie, the diva deals with her mother’s death. Speaking on the matter, she said, “I’m already feeling a little sad that I don’t get to stay with them or see them growing up. Seeing your parents also grow up is something…like I’ve seen my mum since she was 17-18 and now she’s 40-42…You’ve seen them grow up and I have a little sister who’s like 8-years-old. I’m like I don’t get to see them growing up, I just get to see the grown-up. I miss it a lot, but I’m a person who’s receiving so much love from everyone out there, and I feel equally responsible for them. So this is the sacrifice my family has made for the people out there.”

Rashmika Mandanna talking about her sister and how much she misses her, the Goodbye star revealed, “I’ve grown up in a hostel, so staying away from my parents was never a problem. But constantly staying for so long, and after your sister happened. When she was born, I would feed her, I would change her diapers, I would bathe her, I was her second mumma. To move from that to now not being able to see her grow up, was a little painful.”

The actress Rashmika Mandanna loves her family and sister a lot. However, Goodbye got released today, on 7th October 2022. The film also casts Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Sunil Grover, and others in key roles.
