Reese Witherspoon’s Flawless Beauty Hacks You Can Steal For Yourself

Here are all of Reese Witherspoon's skincare steps, from the serum she uses on her hyperpigmentation to the facial tool she uses twice a day.

Reese Witherspoon, an actress who first appeared on our screens in the early 1990s (who remembers Cruel Intentions?), appears to have aged very little and is frequently compared to her younger-looking daughter Ava Phillippe, 21.

As she explained earlier this year: “I have always been mindful of what’s being placed on my skin, but after all the time I’ve spent on-sets during my career, I’ve learnt so much. My desire to use items that were made cleanly and intentionally has developed along with my knowledge.”

Step-by-step skincare instructions from Reese

Reese stated her skincare routine.

“Since I wear makeup on television, taking care of my skin has always been a priority in my life. I’m really careful about using my skincare products every morning and every night because I have to make sure that the base is extremely moisturized.

The Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil and the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream are my two favorite items, I must say.

I mostly utilize these. Both are intensely moisturizing and neither is oily.

I cleanse and apply the moisturizing cream first thing in the morning, followed by rose oil and, of course, sunscreen.

Because it also brightens, the Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil is fantastic. It’s nice to have this vitamin C (rose oil) incorporated into my skincare routine because it’s been helping with the black patches on my hyperpigmentation from pregnancy, which has been a little tough.

It also moisturizes. I frequently use this because I have dry skin, especially in the winter.”

Night

“I typically wear makeup from the day to night, therefore I prefer a product that is effective but gentle. It’s beneficial to massage a jelly cleanser into the skin to break down the oils and other substances.

I use the Biossance Squalane + Elderberry Cleanser, which emulsifies with water so that everything washes off without stripping or drying up your skin. Then, to seal in the moisture, I apply my moisturizer first, followed by the oil.”
