Chiyaan Vikram is a big name in the Tamil industry. He gained popularity with films like Anniyan, Pitamagan, Raavanan, Deiva Thirumagal etc. He is a power-packed performer, often known for his thunderous display of emotions. Vikram fans are now excited to welcome their hero in the pan India project, Cobra. Written and directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film is said to be a thriller movie.
A report on koimoi.com slated that Chiyaan Vikram is actually charging big money for the film. Recently, Vikram fans were in for a scare when he was admitted of Kauvery Hospital amid rumours of suffering a heart attack. However, he is said to be recuperating now.
As per the reports, Chiyaan Vikram is charging 25 crores as his salary for Cobra. The film is said to be riding on a budget of 90 crores, and if we compare it with his fees, it’s 22.5% of the total budget.
This is indeed big money, but guess all of it is perfectly fine considering that there is Vikram to deliver the knockout punch when it comes to ringing hard at the cash registers.
