Amrita Singh worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the film ‘Mard’ which was released in the year 1985. The film was a big hit at the box office. People loved the chemistry of Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh. However, due to this film, Amrita Singh’s daughter and actress Sara had to face a lot of embarrassment during her school days and this was revealed by Sara herself to Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan.
As per reports in ABP, when Karan Johar asked Sara Ali Khan, ‘Which movie of her mother Amrita Singh that she does not like at all? On this, Sara said, ‘That film was Mard, because of which I had to feel embarrassed many times. There was a scene in this film in which my mother kisses Amitabh Bachchan in a pile of dried grass. Everyone made fun in school about this scene. After listening to Sara, Saif Ali Khan said, ‘What was wrong in kissing Amitabh Bachchan?’ Then Sara says ‘She is my mother, all this was very strange for me’.
