Shruti Haasan On Growing Up, Says My Own Family Doesn’t Felt Like My Own

When Shruti Haasan said that because she grew up in the limelight, she felt that her family didn't belong only to her.

Shruti Haasan, the multitalented Indian singer, actress, and model has made quite a name for herself in Telugu cinema and the Bollywood industry. Her acting prowess and her charms make for a really successful career in the film industry.

Recently, as per reports in Hindustan Times, she said that because she grew up in the limelight, she felt that her family didn’t belong only to her. In an interview, she was asked about her relationship with Shantanu Hazarika, and how she seems to be rather ‘guarded’ about her personal life.

“I am not hiding anything; that’s not my nature. It is too much effort to keep things a secret and I had decided early on that was what I didn’t need in my life. However, I have also not had too much personal life, because I have grown up in front of people from a very early age. My own family felt like it didn’t belong only to me, so I am instinctively a little guarded about my personal life. I am not complaining but that’s how it has panned out for me,” she told a leading daily.
