Ananya Panday seems to have found her footing in Bollywood. She debuted in B-town with the movie Student Of The Year 2 and gained a lot of popularity, flooring the fans with her beauty and talent. However, currently the actress under the Narcotics Control Bureau’s lens in connection with the Aryan Khan’s drugs-on-cruise case.
As per reports in Deccan Chronicle, the actress was questioned twice and has been summoned again by the NCB. And the situation has apparently made her apprehensive about her shooting commitments. The actress was scheduled to shoot a song sequence for Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda, from Wednesday at a specially-erected set in Mumbai.
“Ananya is going through a lot during these tough times,” a source shares to the portal, adding, that “She is not in the right frame of mind [for shooting].” However, since makers wanted to wrap up the schedule with this song, they were keen that the actress attends work. Ananya’s mentor Karan Johar, who also happens to be one of the producers of the film, took the responsibility of bringing Ananya to the sets, the source said. “Karan made repeated requests to Ananya to resume the shooting. He assured her that she would be shooting in a comfortable environment,” the source added.
Ananya finally joined the sets of the Puri Jagannadh directorial and wrapped up her part for this schedule. “Had it been any other producer, perhaps she would have said ‘No’ Also, no other producer would not have gone to her and asked her to come to the sets. Because of the respect Ananya has for Karan she obliged despite being under enormous stress,” adds another source from the unit.
